This practical course will identify successful methods for promoting reading enjoyment throughout the school and explore a wide range of excellent modern children’s books and effective ways to use them to enhance enthusiasm for reading.
Trainer: Anne Harding, a specialist in children’s and young people’s reading and children’s and school libraries

Who should attend: Key stage 1 and 2 literacy and library co-ordinators, class teachers and   support staff
Cost per delegate:     £50 to delegates from schools which subscribe to either Schools Library     Services
                                   £100 to delegates from schools which do not subscribe to either Schools   Library Services
